Stephen-Béla Cooper - Associate
Mr. Cooper is an associate practicing within the firm's corporate and business transactions group. His interdisciplinary background in law and finance enables him to approach each transaction with a unique understanding of clients' core objectives and employ innovative and creative legal solutions to achieve the same.
Prior to joining Carle, Mackie, Power & Ross, LLP, Mr. Cooper held clerkships at several business and financial regulators, trade associations and law firms, including at the Institute of International Finance, Internal Revenue Service, Office of the National Taxpayer Advocate, and the investment management law firm of Cole-Frieman & Mallon LLP.
During law school, he was elected to the Alternative Dispute Resolution Skills Board, serving for a term on its executive board as Treasurer, and was a senior staff member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal.
An avid sports enthusiast in his spare time, you can find him skiing, playing tennis, or willing any one of his local sports teams to another championship; he also has a penchant for art and cinema.
