Commercial Litigation Attorney
We seek a mid-level litigation attorney with at least three years experience, preferably in general business litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in brief writing, discovery, and taking/defending depositions. File Clerk/General Admin
Qualified candidate must have background experience with multi-line phones, front office reception and heavy filing. Job position requires strong organizational and computer skills with a minimum of one year law firm experience. Person must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Must own vehicle and provide a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for assisting the File Manager with filing – Sort and code materials for filing, prepare new files, retrieve and route requested files.
2. Receptionist relief – Answer phones during lunch hour and breaks.
3. Copy services – Copy projects involving legal documents; bates stamping.
4. Maintain copy rooms – Replenish supplies and maintain general order of copy rooms.
5. Court Runs/Delivery/Pick-up Documents and other errands.
6. Various other clerical projects: assist legal assistants with various projects including but not limited to – Prepare closing binders, scan and store client documents into computer database, organize documents for client presentations.
